THE RACE
The landscape in Pasco presents a unique challenge to those who are accustomed to flat bike courses. HILLS!!! That’s right; the rolling hills of Pasco County are a favorite for amateur and professional athletes. The first challenge waits as you depart Lake Jovita up the steep hill into transition. This cross-country style course twists and turns through the campus of Saint Leo University as you find yourself traveling along the picturesque landscape of Florida. If you live in a flatter location, this course will be a great change of scenery.
THE SWIM
The swim takes you 600 meters across beautiful Lake Jovita and right into transition. With no current or waves this could be one of the easiest swims in the series.
THE BIKE
Hills, and Hills, and even more hills! This 10 mile bike course is going to challenge everyone from amateur all the way to professionals. With so many athletes use to flat fast paced bike courses, this should be one exciting bike race.
THE RUN
The run course is a full 3.1 miles long. It takes you from transition all throughout campus. With a couple hills on the course, it will sure challenge all the runners. This course is 75% on grass, which makes it more like a cross country run. Makes sure your shoe laces are tied tight for this one.
