Triathlon: 600 meter swim, 10.0 mile bike, 3.1 mile run
Duathlon: 2 mile run, 10.0 mile bike, 3.1 mile run
Sprint Kids Du: 200 yard sprint, .5 mile bike, 100 yard sprint
5K Grand Prix: 3.1 mile run (same course as race)
Inline Skate: 6.2 mile inline (several loops in parking lot)
THE RACE (Triathlon & Duathlon)
End the 2009 Season with a bang! Our Championship Site takes you through the roller coasters and gardens of Florida's first theme park! Start your day off by taking a dip in Lake Eloise with a couple hundred of your closest friends. Upon exiting the spring fed lake, run through the beautifully decorated Gardens of the park, grab your bike, and head out for a 10.0 mile trek on Florida’s less traveled roads. These scenic country back roads will lead you on a tour of Winter Haven while adding a bit of challenge to your day. After re-racking your bike, head out on a 3.1 mile tour of Cypress Gardens. On this course you will cover every inch of the park! We take you through the gardens, past the rides, out to the parking lot and back into the Amphitheater where your friends and family await your arrival. There’s something for everyone; from the world’s tallest spinning rapids ride, to all time family favorites! We close the season in style with the series awards, prizes and celebration party.
AIN'T NO PARTY LIKE A POOL PARTY
This year we will be taking the party to the pool at the admirals inn
So bring your board shorts and bathingsuits (no speedos)
Time 2pm – 5pm there will be food and refreshments.
